Welcome and thanks for checking in!  Oh, and please feed the fish. I'm a Pisces, too, you know!

The writing bug's been in my blood since I was twelve and I started the Hill Weekly, my neighborhood newspaper...it sold for a dime an issue.  Little did I know a fledgling newspaper in progress (and located just a bit east from here) would steal my idea and become a nationally known gossip rag!

My commentaries have been published in local newspapers for the past 11 years and my nonfiction articles have found homes in Parenting Teens Magazine, AIM Intercultural Magazine, and Good Dog Magazine.  I've also been lucky enough to have several short fiction stories appear on the Internet.  

I've won several awards for my nonfiction pieces: the Writer's Digest 78th Annual Writer's Contest and the Philadelphia Writer's Conference, June 2011. 

My current project, Dinosaurs and Cherry Stems, is the humorous tale of of a recovered divorcee who lands in an unexpected, sometimes turbulent, midlife relationship.  Each chapter portrays how she and her man contend with keeping their baggage out of the equation, while discovering mutual love and respect within the boundaries of their unique connection.
