I'm very excited today for several reasons:  First, Leslea Tash, http://lesleatash.com, interviewed me about, well, my writing and how Dinosaurs and Cherry Stems came to be. Please check out her site and while you're at it, her books. Secondly, I've discovered how to make my blog more reader friendly, via the IWU and Writers Groups I'm affiliated with, so kudos to all for sharing your vital information.

It's not just about the writing and your stories, even if it's what brought us here in the first place.  What's key is how authors must totally focus on what's happening around them, so they can relate with the public and the readership, aka the fan base. The bottom line is: Put some personality into your blog and reach out to others, because it's not all about you.

I'm so grateful to be learning from such talented writers, I don't know what else to do except shout it to the world here. Participating in the PWC this past June, along with the N. Wildwood Writers Conference and my groups, has shown me the way to reach out and be heard...

However...

More importantly, I've learned, simply: How To Listen!

Have a great Labor Day weekend!
